The Rise of Service Robots

Service robots are different than assembly-line or industrial robots for one main reason: they’re designed to “help people help themselves”. Mobile autonomous service robots work side-by-side with humans to improve their lives.
They’re helpers and must be useable by regular people who have different levels of comfort with technology in varied environments - from hotels and retail stores, to high-rise apartment buildings, logistics centers, hospitals, and more. Find out which technology and design characteristics are critical for service robots - and how to build those features into functional, cost-effective, and safe robots.
